Can we beach the boats or jetskis?

You may anchor close and swim in. NO BEACHING!

What are your pet and smoking policies?

No smoking and no pets allowed on the boats.

Can we fish on your boats?

Yes! Lake Gaston is great for fishing! Please bring a towel to handle bait/fish and keep the boat clean! We do charge a cleaning fee when needed.

Can my kids ride on the jetski?

Yes! We do recommend no children under 5 on the jetskis.

Can I pull tubes/skiers with the jetskis?

While tubing works great with our boats, you CANNOT tow anything with the jetskis.

Do you rent tubes to tow behind the boat?

Yes! Towing tubes is allowed on our boats BUT NOT JETSKIS. During your booking process there is an option to add a tube for $55 for the first day and $20 each additional.

We have a large group. Can we rent 1 boat and take turns going in and out for the day?

While this would work well if you have a rental house and are doing a multiday rental, it is not allowed on daily rentals. Your group must fit within the capacity of the boat. This policy is set for safety.

Do you provide a captain for the boat?

When you rent a boat it is up to you to be the driver or provide one. If you are wanting a captained experience please book one of our tours!

If we are renting the boat for the whole day. Why do I need to be on time for my appointment?

Yes! you do need to be on time for your appointment. We do have a late fee for pickup of $50. We also have a late return fee of $250. Please be on time! Our dock space is limited and we have your vessel ready for you at your appointment time. If you would like to change your pickup time please reach out! As long s the spot is open, we can make it happen with advanced notice!

Can we come by boat or jetski to pickup our rental?

Because our dock space is limited it would work most easily to come by car.

Our house is located on Lake Gaston but I see a bridge between it and your rental location. Will I be able to get to you by water?

Yes! There are several bridges that cross the lake and some are very tall and wide while others are low and tight. Navigating under these smaller bridges is still very doable but we would like to send you with extra bumpers for the boat. Please let us know where your rental is!

Can we use a trailer to tow your vessels to other lakes?

Our boats are in the water full of gas and ready to go! Only can be used on the waters of Lake Gaston.

Do I need a VA or NC fishing license to fish all over Lake Gaston?

Yes! You can actually get either one. Going online is the quickest and easiest. https://www.takemefishing.org/get-a-fishing-license/#stateList

Can we rent multiple vessels?

Yes! For daily rentals we do have a max of two vessel per group and three vessels per group for multi day rentals. This is a policy set for safety.

Do you teach watersports?
